Abdominal Examination Trainer

This Abdominal Examination Trainer is an anatomically accurate adult male torso. It can be used to teach and practice palpation of the abdomen, auscultation, and percussion elements of abdominal or gastrointestinal (GI) examination.

The interchangeable organs give trainees the experience of a range of pathologies before encountering a real patient. Palpation of the abdomen feels life-like with the stretchable skin and Rectus Bag (abdominal fluid bag).

Abdominal Examination Trainer is ideal for OSCE preparation and assessment, and helps the student gain key skills such as:

• Identification of ascites, specifically shifting dullness and fluid thrill
• Identification of gaseous distension and bowel obstruction
• Ballottement of kidneys
• Familiarity with the abdominal regions and underlying anatomy

This product comes with a mains power cable but can be powered with batteries if needed.
